Voortrekker Shetland self-catering accommodation offers, quality, apartments with BBQ's and separate guest Spa Area. All our, in-house apartments, are adult only, each uniquely handcrafted, offering the perfect getaway place to unwind and relax.
Take in the panoramic views across the cliffs of Southpunds as far as Bressay, from inside the spa area or the apartments. The Southpunds marshlands below provide a natural breeding habit for annual rare water fowls.
Catch a glimpse of Killer Whales, Piet's encounter with Orcas in Levenwick 2020, other sea mammals, as they make their way around the island.
Experience the tranquillity of, Walking the Southpund, wild cliff-tops, with bird colonies of Puffins, Shags, Fulmars and more.
Shetland offers some of the finest walking in Europe, at all times of the year. Shetland has 1679 miles of awe-inspiring coastline, along with quiet in land locks and gentle heathery hills. It is worth noting that car is best option to get the most out of Shetland.
We are ideally located making it easy to tour the islands, only 9 miles from Sumburgh Airport, 17 miles to Lerwick and 41 miles to the Yell Ferry to Unst.

Mogill is one of 3 self-catering, in-house, open plan apartments. Mogill sits alongside Soothpunds on the North East of the main building.
This quaint apartment offers stunning panoramic views, looking north to the cliffs of Noss and across the east horizon as far as tomorrow. On the east side we enjoy beautiful morning sunrises and the colourful spills from the sunsets. Whether in bed, dining or on the patio one is surrounded by breath-taking views.
Inside the apartment is a well appointed kitchenette area with fold up table, double settee, king bed and shower room. There is also a large closet for extra storage.
Mogill is uniquely handcrafted like all our apartments from historical reclaimed local materials, with everything needed to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Quinni is one of 3, in-house open, plan apartments; Quinni being our largest and more private, sits upstairs with it's own balcony and double patio doors.
Stepping out onto the balcony the views are as far north across Levenwick Bay to the cliffs at Noss and across the east horizon. From within the apartment the views enjoyed are the Southpund cliffs of Quinni Geo and to the south part of the area. Waking out onto the balcony to enjoy the afternoon sun and stunning sunset colours gracing the sea and skyline.
With it's balcony makes this a very spacious apartment with plenty of room storage along with kitchenette & Shower bathroom. Quinni is uniquely handcrafted like all our apartments with reclaimed historical local materials, with everything needed to relax and enjoy a holiday.

Soothpunds is one of our 3, in-house, open plan apartments. Soothpunds sits alongside Mogill on the north west side of the main building. The apartment can be accessed from it's two entrances, the parking area or via patio which overlooks the stunning Levenwick Bay.
Looking out from the lounge, take in the unspoilt views across Levenwick to the North Noss Cliffs. On east side we get spectacular sunset colours that spill over Mossi Hill flowing into the bay.
This is a semi open planned apartment with separate kitchenette, bedroom, lounge (with privacy blinds), extra storage closet and shower bathroom.
